Director, Finance Analytics, Process Excellence & AI

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Director to lead Finance Operations and Procurement Operations analytics, reporting, process intelligence, automation, and AI enablement. The role oversees a global Data Analytics team and partners with Global Process Owners and Service Delivery leaders to deliver actionable insights and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for KPI reporting, process intelligence, and AI‑enabled insights across Finance and Procurement Operations.
• Partner with Global Process Owners to identify standardization, automation, and performance‑improvement opportunities using data‑driven insights.
• Lead the global Data Analytics team, governing KPI definitions, dashboard strategies, and scorecards.
• Deliver executive dashboards, management reporting, and predictive analytics that support decision‑making.
• Evaluate and prioritize AI and automation use cases, driving adoption and measurable business value.
• Manage intake, prioritization, and governance of analytics, reporting, automation, and AI requests.
• Establish data‑governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑performing global analytics or finance transformation teams.
• Strong partnership skills with finance, procurement, and process‑owner stakeholders to translate insights into action.
