Director, Business Strategy & Transformation

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Director of Business Strategy & Transformation to lead strategic planning, business optimization, and enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives. Based in Boston, you will work closely with the COO, CSO, and functional leaders to translate high‑level ambitions into actionable plans that drive scalable growth in a fast‑paced software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual and multi‑year strategic planning, ensuring alignment across product, go‑to‑market, and operations.
• Conduct market, competitive, and customer analyses to inform investment decisions.
• Evaluate new growth opportunities, including new markets, business models, and partnerships, and develop business cases.
• Facilitate scenario planning and strategic prioritization for executive decision‑making.
• Drive quarterly and annual business review processes, creating high‑quality presentations, dashboards, and narratives.
• Establish a consistent review cadence and governance model across departments.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to synthesize insights into cohesive performance narratives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic planning, business transformation, or management consulting.
• Strong ability to work with senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Track record of delivering complex, cross‑functional programs.
