Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – TOSH Pain Clinic

About the role

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will provide imaging services for patients at the TOSH Pain Clinic, supporting the delivery of high‑quality diagnostic care. This position is part of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences health system and works closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X‑ray, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
• Participate in quality‑control activities and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Current or recent graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a radiology technologist.
• Ability to work day shifts in a clinical environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles.
• Basic computer skills for image acquisition and record‑keeping.
