DevOps Engineer – Miami, US

About the role

Pelico is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in the United States. You will help shape the company’s multi‑cloud infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure, scalable and reliable while supporting rapid product expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Linux‑based environments, GitLab CI pipelines, Ansible automation, Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve operational efficiency and system observability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and a knowledge base for recurring issues and scalability.
• Enhance logging, monitoring and alerting to increase system reliability.
• Take ownership of on‑call duties, responding quickly to incidents and driving root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with customers during onboarding, providing technical guidance and ensuring release cadence meets their needs.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux system administration.
• Hands‑on expertise in GitLab CI, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot complex issues and drive automation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
