DevOps Engineer

About the role

The role drives the design, scaling, and reliability of cloud infrastructure that powers high‑throughput production systems. It is a highly collaborative engineering position focused on building automated platforms, reducing operational friction, and eliminating single points of failure across multi‑region environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure using Terraform across multi‑region AWS environments.
• Own and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) cluster operations, including scaling policies, ingress controllers, service meshes, and namespace isolation.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to accelerate release cycles.
• Implement comprehensive observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog for proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
• Collaborate with backend engineering teams to architect fault‑tolerant, high‑availability microservices and optimize containerized workloads.
• Participate in a blameless post‑mortem culture and a rotating on‑call schedule to support critical production systems.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or systems engineering supporting high‑traffic production environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or Pulumi.
• Deep operational experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python, Go, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and modern web protocols.
• Bonus: Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, AWS security best practices, or managing stateful services in Kubernetes.
