DevOps Engineer – AWS

About the role

TensorWave is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, provision, and support the AWS infrastructure that powers its AMD GPU AI/HPC platform. You will work closely with Rust backend engineers, TypeScript developers, SREs, and platform teams to ensure the cloud environment is reliable, cost‑efficient, and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AWS infrastructure across development, staging, production, and customer environments, including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, security, cost optimization, and decommissioning.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Implement high‑availability, auto‑scaling, and secure service communication patterns.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud resources and hosted services.
• Enhance observability with metrics, logging, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot networking, compute, storage, IAM, and deployment issues on AWS.
• Participate in incident response, post‑incident reviews, and root‑cause analysis.
• Document architecture, operational processes, and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform operations.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, load balancers, security groups).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, preferably Terraform.
• Solid Linux fundamentals, including networking, process management, storage, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git‑based workflows, and monitoring/alerting platforms.
• Clear communicator able to document infrastructure and collaborate across engineering teams.
