Deskside Support Specialist

About the role

The Deskside Support Specialist provides first‑ and second‑level IT support for hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity across the manufacturing floor. You will work directly with production personnel, engineers, and administrative staff to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktop and laptop systems.
• Provide on‑site assistance to associates at their workstations and on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, computer hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Escalate complex server or network issues to appropriate IT teams while maintaining communication.
• Respond immediately to production‑impacting incidents 24/7.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on desktop or deskside technical support.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site.
