Designer, Global Men's Tops

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Designer to focus on tops for the global Levi's® Men’s brand. Based in San Francisco, you will create commercially‑viable products that deepen brand value while collaborating across design, merchandising, and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Guide innovation through fit, fabric, finish, style, and sundries development.
• Research consumer and marketplace trends to stay ahead of competition.
• Analyze current sales data and forecast future trends.
• Manage PLM BOM data integrity for prototypes, commercial samples, and production.
• Develop seasonal assortment strategy meeting COGS targets and GTM timelines.
• Collaborate with internal partners across design, merchandising, and product development.
• Design products with a sustainable mindset and Net Positive approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 4+ years of design experience in apparel.
• Strong flat‑sketching ability, good design and color sense.
• Knowledge of product construction, finishes, fabrics, hardware, stitches, and safety requirements.
• Understanding of fit models and standard measurements.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Reader, PowerPoint).
• PLM systems.
• Solid flat‑sketching skills.
• Product construction expertise.

What we offer

• Base salary $93,000‑$130,000 per year.
