DataOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

The DataOps Engineer will own enterprise‑scale data operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and governance of Greystar’s data platforms. This role supports seamless data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across business domains while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and support data platform operations, managing the Data Change Advisory Board (CAB).
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines with a focus on quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Implement data security solutions aligned with legal, compliance, and business requirements.
• Provide L2 support for data‑related tickets and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Collaborate with BI/Analytics, data scientists, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction.
• Document operational processes, pipeline designs, and integration details.
• Generate operational reports such as service ticket metrics, pipeline performance, and data quality reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data operations, governance, and observability principles.
• Experience delivering reliable data pipelines in an enterprise environment.
