About the role

Infosys is looking for a Database Architect with deep expertise in IMS to join its Engineering unit in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure database solutions for telecom OSS/BSS environments while leveraging data‑first engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analyses to select optimal solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adherence to quality standards and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyze system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Proven ability to analyze, design and develop scalable, secure architectures.
• Strong aptitude for assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of integration methodologies, proof‑of‑concept validation and deployment strategies.
