Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics & AI

About the role

The Data Scientist will design, develop and implement advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine‑learning solutions that enhance business decision‑making and operational performance for the Marketing department.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, BI professionals and Data Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Design, develop, evaluate, deploy and monitor statistical, predictive, prescriptive and machine‑learning models.
• Create AI solutions using structured and unstructured enterprise data and assess emerging AI technologies for responsible integration.
• Establish standards and best practices for AI development, documentation, deployment, monitoring, explainability and responsible use.
• Design, develop and maintain enterprise semantic models within Microsoft Fabric, transforming Gold‑layer data into analytics‑ready structures.
• Partner with Data Engineering to define Gold‑layer requirements and ensure semantic models deliver consistent business definitions across Power BI, AI solutions and other downstream consumers.
• Optimize semantic models for performance, scalability, security and maintainability, applying modern development lifecycle practices such as Git‑based source control, CI/CD and versioned testing.
