Data Research Intern – Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Department of Operational Support is seeking a Data Research Intern to join the Office of Supply Chain Management (OSCM). You will work as a full member of the team, supporting data‑driven projects that improve supply chain planning, logistics, and procurement across global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data from multiple databases, applying statistical and mathematical methods.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and simple visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and clean data sets, ensuring high quality for analysis.
• Translate analytical results into written reports or presentations for management.
• Identify trends and patterns using basic machine‑learning techniques and statistical methods.
• Support the design and implementation of process improvements and innovative data‑science approaches.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to data science, statistics, economics, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to convey findings to non‑technical audiences.
