Data Management Specialist

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs. You will work with key student information systems, ensuring data accuracy and providing technical support for faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain student and academic data in Banner and related validation tables.
• Support Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs by generating reports and documents.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Degree Works, including the Student Dashboard.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, the Registrar, and faculty to keep program and course information current.
• Provide technical support for Student Affairs and Academic Affairs systems, troubleshooting issues promptly.

Required profile

• Associate degree with three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with three years of experience.
• Working knowledge of Banner and experience with transcript evaluation and Degree Works.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
