Data Engineer

About the role

NinjaHoldings is looking for a Data Engineer to join its analytics and machine‑learning team. You will build and optimise data pipelines, extend the ML platform, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with development teams to deliver cross‑functional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior data‑engineering team members.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data‑pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Extend the machine‑learning platform by creating tools that integrate with cloud services and existing code bases.
• Develop ETL infrastructure using SQL, Python, and AWS.
• Build analytics tools that provide actionable business insights.
• Create data‑handling utilities for analysts and data scientists.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Self‑directed with the ability to support multiple teams, systems, and products.
• Experience with analytics, statistics, or machine‑learning workflows is a strong plus.
