Data and ML Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data and ML Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate the data platform that powers HavocAI’s autonomous systems. You will be responsible for creating robust pipelines and tools that turn large volumes of video, imagery, telemetry and sensor logs into searchable, reproducible datasets for model training and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the data lake for video, imagery, telemetry, sensor data and autonomy logs.
• Develop scalable ingestion, storage, indexing and lifecycle‑management pipelines.
• Build tools for searching, filtering, tagging and retrieving data across missions and operating conditions.
• Create workflows to clean, label, validate and version datasets for ML training, testing and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception, Software and Field Operations teams to identify high‑value data and support annotation pipelines.
• Integrate datasets with model training, experiment tracking and deployment processes.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and reproducibility across multimodal data streams.

Required profile

• Strong background in data engineering and building large‑scale data infrastructures.
• Experience handling multimodal operational data such as video, imagery and telemetry.
• Ability to work hands‑on, turn messy real‑world data into reliable, ML‑ready datasets.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
