About the role

The CORE Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is looking for a Cybersecurity Research Assistant to support ongoing research and educational initiatives. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides hands‑on experience in cybersecurity projects under the direct supervision of faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Assist faculty with data collection and analysis for cybersecurity research.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and digital workflow tasks.
• Perform routine technical tasks and documentation as assigned.
• Maintain research records and contribute to project reporting.

Required profile

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Arkansas System.
• Foundational knowledge of information technology and basic security principles.
• Ability to work independently and follow faculty guidance.
