Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Visa’s Cyber Security Engineering team protects the company’s technology infrastructure and data assets. As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will design, implement and maintain security architectures, controls and systems across a global, multi‑cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability management across diverse technology stacks.
• Design, implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Promote secure coding practices, DevSecOps and a secure Software Development Lifecycle.
• Architect security solutions for cloud, hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Implement data protection, privacy engineering and compliance controls.
• Develop, customize and automate security tools and processes.
• Monitor network and application security, detect emerging threats and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response planning, investigation and mitigation.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security throughout business processes.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide technical expertise to support business objectives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of security assessment methodologies and penetration testing.
• Experience designing and implementing IAM solutions.
