Customer Project Manager

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Customer Project Manager to lead production projects within the braking product area. You will act as the primary liaison between Bosch and automotive OEM customers, ensuring new model launches and ongoing projects meet technical, timing, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project objectives on schedule, within specification, budget, and profit targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, assigning responsibilities and holding members accountable for deliverables and deadlines.
• Coordinate customer sample deliveries, ensuring technical content and part maturity are met on time.
• Serve as the main interface for new model launches, handling technical issues and change requests.
• Identify project risks, drive mitigation actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Report project status to internal stakeholders through regular reviews and global meetings.
• Develop and maintain program timelines, activity reports, and project data in Bosch systems and customer portals.
• Travel up to 20% of the time, including occasional international trips.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably launching automotive products into production.
• Proven experience managing projects with automotive OEM customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross‑functional teams across engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing.
