Customer Administrative Specialist

About the role

The Customer Administrative Specialist supports LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ Civilian Markets at state and local government levels. The role handles outbound sales contacts, order processing, and maintains accurate customer and prospect records to enable effective sales execution.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound sales contacts, including cold calls, to develop a portfolio of buying customers.
• Accept orders, close sales, and ensure accurate documentation and record‑keeping.
• Identify and qualify prospective customers, logging activity in Salesforce.
• Inform customers about new product and service introductions, pricing, and updates.
• Maintain regular communication with the Sales Director and Team Lead to support priorities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Basic functional knowledge of selling and account management.
• Ability to understand key business drivers and apply that knowledge daily.

Required skills

• Proficiency using Salesforce and internal operational systems.
• Proficient understanding of the Accurint platform, including demonstration and pricing discussions.
