CT Technologist (Per Diem)

About the role

The CT Technologist will work under the direction of a radiologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography exams on a per‑diem basis. This position supports Kingman Healthcare’s commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care by ensuring safe radiation practices and accurate imaging results.

Key responsibilities

• Position patients, select exposure factors, and operate the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic quality images.
• Verify patient identity using two unique identifiers and confirm pregnancy status when appropriate.
• Assess contraindications, evaluate lab values, and administer contrast media safely.
• Document exam start/stop times, patient reactions, and any equipment issues in the imaging software.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and use appropriate shielding and immobilization devices.

Required profile

• Graduate of an ARRT‑approved CT program.
• Current CT registration and licensure with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
• Current ARRT certification (or obtain within 9 months of hire).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
