CSR Assessment and Reporting Consultant

About the role

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) is seeking an experienced consultant to evaluate and strengthen its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices. Over a four‑month period, you will deliver a comprehensive baseline report, a multi‑year roadmap, and a reusable reporting framework to guide future CSR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing CSR policies, programmes, governance structures and related documentation.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and targeted consultations across relevant functions.
• Collect and consolidate qualitative and quantitative data on current CSR activities.
• Analyze findings, benchmark against comparable organisations, and identify strengths, gaps and opportunities.
• Prepare a baseline CSR report summarising practices, achievements and key observations.
• Develop practical recommendations, priority areas and a multi‑year CSR roadmap.
• Design a structured reporting framework and a reusable template for annual CSR reporting.
• Present findings and recommendations to UNJSPF stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, business administration or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting CSR assessments, benchmarking and developing reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
