Critical Care RN – Night Shift (Support Staffing Pool)

About the role

The organization seeks a Registered Nurse to provide critical care services during night shifts on the Kings Highway support staffing pool. The RN will apply the Nursing Process, lead interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high‑quality patient outcomes while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Use the Nursing Process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and staff.
• Delegate, direct, and coordinate nursing team resources, acting as a leader on the unit.
• Analyze data and implement changes to improve patient outcomes.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to diverse patient populations and maintain compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• RN diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in critical care or emergency settings.
• Active RN license in the state of practice and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification and any clinical specialty certification preferred.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based computer applications for data entry and retrieval.
