Corporate Safety, Health & Environmental Specialist

About the role

As a Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) Specialist at Nestlé’s Purina headquarters, you will embed a ‘safety‑always’ mindset across the organization, supporting head‑office departments, remote sites and vendors. The role is based in St. Louis, MO, with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Develop, maintain and implement SHE procedures, training programs and content.
• Lead SHE projects to promote continual improvement.
• Provide safety training to campus departments and external contractors.
• Perform and review risk assessments and interact with internal, third‑party and regulatory auditors/inspectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Life Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
• At least one year of relevant experience in a military, healthcare, manufacturing or corporate environment.
