Corporate Development Manager – M&A & Strategic Investments

About the role

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime solutions, is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to drive its growth strategy. The role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments that align with the company’s defense technology mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end M&A transactions, from target identification and due diligence through negotiation, closing, and post‑deal integration.
• Conduct industry and competitive analyses to uncover acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and partnership prospects.
• Build detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support deal assessment and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, legal and other cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Present transaction proposals to senior leadership and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors and consultants.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing complex deal structures such as M&A, carve‑outs, equity investments and joint ventures.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
