Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - Associate

About the role

Santander is seeking an Associate Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to support senior bankers in managing client relationships, executing transactions, and driving portfolio growth. This role offers exposure to strategic business activities, industry analysis, and cross‑functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to senior relationship managers and act as a secondary banker for clients.
• Lead preparation of client presentations, including research, drafting marketing materials, and creating pitch books.
• Coordinate cross‑sell opportunities by working with Credit, Product, and Global Network stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Risk Department, preparing and presenting risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Monitor transaction execution, supporting product partners to meet client timelines.
• Conduct client and industry research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate banking experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, banking products, and credit analysis.
• Solid financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and work independently.
