About the role
The Cook will prepare meals for Head Start children and staff in Sikeston, following pre‑determined menus. This full‑time position involves managing all kitchen activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare meals for Head Start children and staff according to set menus.
- Maintain full kitchen operations, including cleaning, sanitation, and record‑keeping.
- Complete production records and reports using mathematical calculations.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of experience in commercial cooking.
- High School Diploma or GED, a valid Missouri driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.
Required skills
- Commercial cooking (food preparation).
- Mathematical skills for production record keeping.
