Contingent Worker – Kids First Clinic (Fort Smith)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Contingent Worker to join the Kids First clinic in Fort Smith. The role involves delivering evidence‑based therapy to children from birth to five years old who present with gross‑motor delays or disorders, working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized, evidence‑based therapy techniques to the birth‑to‑5 population.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas professional license appropriate for pediatric therapy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on day one of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption on file.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based gross‑motor therapy techniques for infants and toddlers.
