Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will oversee all phases of a construction project, from initial planning through to final completion. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, enforcing safety regulations and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
• Inspect subcontractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses and report variances to the project manager.
• Lead, mentor and supervise on‑site construction teams, fostering a productive work environment.
• Identify and resolve issues or conflicts that could impact timelines.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software and related tools.
