Construction Superintendent II

About the role

The Project Superintendent II leads all on‑site field activities for construction projects, overseeing daily operations, safety, logistics, and subcontractor performance. This full‑time position in Denver, CO, manages projects with budgets of $5 million or more across diverse delivery methods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Assistant Project Superintendents, Field Engineers, and labor crews.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce site logistics plans, temporary facilities, and safety programs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, subcontractor scopes, and change‑order documentation.
• Maintain project schedules in Primavera P6, including baseline, weekly look‑ahead, and 8‑week forecasts.
• Implement and document SWPPP measures and obtain QSP certification when required.
• Review and enforce contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Provide technical assistance to the project team and manage field inspections and testing.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise construction projects with budgets of $5 M+.
• Experience mentoring junior field staff and managing multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and change‑order processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate field data that impacts cost and schedule forecasts.
