Construction Quality Specialist

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Quality Specialist to oversee the Quality Assurance program for a major industrial complex construction project. The role is part of the program management team and provides strategic guidance on quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on moderately complex quality control inspection activities across the project.
• Provide strategic guidance on quality processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Interact regularly with program/project management, design/engineering, purchasing, construction, and other functional groups.
• Monitor, verify, and record inspection, examination, and testing procedures and data.
• Oversee and document subcontractor inspections, review work, and audit subcontractor‑generated quality records.
• Fill in for the Quality Assurance Manager when absent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality or related field with 8+ years of construction experience (or 12+ years total without a degree).
• ASQ membership desirable; Quality Control Inspector Certification required within 12 months of hire.
• US citizenship, valid driver’s license, and successful visual acuity and color‑discrimination testing.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, presentation, and use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and Procore.
