Construction Management Internship

About the role

The Construction Management Internship Program provides hands‑on experience supporting HVAC and plumbing projects. Interns rotate through estimating, project management, and field operations to understand all phases of mechanical contracting. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop project planning, execution, and client coordination skills.

Key responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on exposure to mechanical contracting and construction processes
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical construction documents
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Participate in pre‑construction and coordination meetings
• Engage with clients, subcontractors, and vendors alongside mentors
• Shadow fabrication department personnel and on‑site field teams
• Develop proficiency using Procore construction management software
• Assist with project management and estimating tasks as assigned
• Attend job meetings as required
• Observe construction site safety standards and procedures

Required profile

• Rising junior or senior majoring in Building Science, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• No prior experience required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to learn and utilize Procore construction management software
