Construction Cost Estimator (Miami, FL)

About the role

RIB U.S. Cost is looking for a Construction Cost Estimator to join its production estimating team in Miami, Florida. You will be responsible for preparing and coordinating detailed cost estimates across all project phases, ensuring they align with client objectives, budgets, and design requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for planning, design, bid, and construction stages.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and price labor, materials, and equipment.
• Apply cost escalations based on project schedules and conduct bid cost analyses.
• Participate in cost negotiations and resolve complex estimating issues.
• Prepare and review material takeoffs, ensuring mathematical and technical accuracy.
• Assign costs to subsystems, equipment, subcontractors, and obtain material quotes.
• Adhere to policies for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Required profile

• Experience in one or more major construction disciplines (general, architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or environmental).
• Ability to work full‑time onsite at Miami Airport.
• Comfort working under the guidance of a Level 3 Estimator.
