About the role

The Concessions Cook at Lakewood Amphitheater prepares and cooks food items that deliver high quality taste and appearance, satisfying guests and maximizing food revenues. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality agency that works with professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention clients.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare, hold and serve products at the correct temperatures, with proper rotation, labeling and dating.
• Use the right utensils and portions, and keep the work area clean, sanitized and organized.
• Keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders so they are cooked on time and accurately, and help restock paper supplies and food items.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as set out in the Employee Training Manual, and follow sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen/serving area maintenance.
• May be assigned to work multiple stations during a shift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience preparing food in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to follow written and oral directions and work under pressure independently.
• Willingness to complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
