Concessions Cook - Dos Equis Pavilion

About the role

The Concessions Cook at the Dos Equis Pavilion prepares and cooks food items that deliver high quality taste and appearance, satisfying guests and helping to maximize food revenues. The position is based in Dallas and is advertised by Legends Global, a hospitality and sponsorship agency.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure products are prepared, held and served at the correct temperatures, with proper rotation, labeling and dating.
• Use the proper utensils and portions at all times.
• Keep the work area clean, sanitized and organized.
• Keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders so they are cooked on time and accurately.
• Assist with re-stocking of paper supplies and food items, and help other positions when needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as set out in the Employee Training Manual, and follow sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen/serving area maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to follow written and oral directions and to work under pressure and independently.
• Willingness to complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
