Concentrator Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Concentrator Operator to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA. The role supports continuous manufacturing of catalysts, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while working closely with operations, maintenance, and laboratory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, start up, monitor, and shut down concentrator and boiler equipment during 12‑hour rotating shifts.
• Monitor critical operating parameters, adjust process conditions, and manage material transfers to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Sample products, perform quality testing, document results, and enter process data into electronic systems.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and process safety requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work an 8‑hour shift in a manufacturing environment and climb structures up to 40 feet.
• Capability to recognize and respond to operational, environmental, and personnel hazards while following established procedures.
• Maintain respirator qualifications and wear respiratory protection when required.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial equipment, including concentrators and boilers.
• Use of process control systems and computer‑based applications such as electronic logs and laboratory systems.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and email communication.
