About the role
You will lead research, design, development and implementation of algorithmic modules for semiconductor process control tools. The role covers classical computer‑vision techniques as well as machine‑learning and deep‑learning approaches, from problem analysis and data gathering to concept selection and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop computer‑vision and ML/DL algorithms for defect detection, classification, metrology and image analysis.
- Investigate literature, prototype algorithmic approaches and solve complex customer use‑cases.
- Collaborate with compute‑infra, software, systems and applications teams to productize new algorithm solutions.
- Perform concept studies, validation and benchmarking on large datasets.
- Write and maintain optimized, production‑quality code and integrate algorithms into inspection tools.
- Optimize algorithm performance by efficiently using GPU resources.
Required profile
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong background in computer vision, image processing and deep‑learning technologies.
- Academic background (Ph.D. or Master’s with 4+ years experience) in computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.
Required skills
- C/C++ programming.
- Python programming.
- TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
- GPU programming with CUDA or OpenCL.
