Computer Tomography Technologist

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Computer Tomography Technologist to join its Clinical Staff team. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports diagnostic imaging services and contributes to high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to acquire optimal images.
• Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System or eligible external candidate.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Availability for day‑shift work; no sponsorship available.
