About the role

The Georgia Department of Community Health is hiring a Compliance Nurse 2 for its Long‑Term Care (LTC) program in the Southwest region. This home‑based position involves conducting on‑site surveys of LTC facilities to verify compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections of long‑term care facilities across the Southwest region.
• Document findings, prepare compliance reports, and communicate results to facility leadership.
• Travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays, with occasional weekend or after‑hours work.
• Apply a 15% geographic pay supplement for eligible counties.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the designated region.
• Ability to work independently under general to limited supervision.
