About the role

The Georgia Department of Community Health is seeking a Compliance Nurse 2 to support its Long‑Term Care Program in the Northwest region. This home‑based position involves conducting on‑site surveys of long‑term care facilities to verify compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections of long‑term care facilities regulated by the state.
• Document findings and prepare compliance reports.
• Travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays, with occasional weekend or after‑hours work.
• Apply a 15% geographic pay supplement for eligible counties.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to work under general to limited supervision and manage travel requirements.
