About the role

The Department of Community Supervision (DCS) in Georgia seeks a dedicated Community Supervision Officer to serve the Southern Circuit, covering Brooks, Echols, and Lowndes counties. This hybrid position blends virtual and in‑person duties, allowing you to impact public safety while enjoying flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload by creating case plans, conducting community surveillance, and enforcing parole and probation conditions.
• Investigate violations, conduct background checks, and coordinate DNA testing when required.
• Link clients to community resources, make referrals, and provide recommendations for successful outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with agency standards.
• Wear a uniform, badge, and department‑issued firearm while performing law‑enforcement duties.
