Community Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Community Staff Pharmacist to join its coordinated care team. In this role you will ensure patients receive the right medications, understand their use, and follow treatment plans within a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provide medication counseling and answer customer questions about drug therapy.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain a welcoming pharmacy environment.
• Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Administer immunizations as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Perform other routine pharmacy duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
