Community Manager – The Westlyn

About the role

The Community Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned apartment community, overseeing staff, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. This role ensures compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations while driving occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to meet revenue targets.
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile charges, and control expenditures within the approved budget.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve applications, conduct inspections, and manage evictions and fee collections.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends to achieve occupancy goals.
• Supervise property staff, handle hiring, training, performance management, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with internet, spreadsheet, and database management tools.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site vehicle operation.
