Community Manager – The Bohen

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of The Bohen Apartments, leveraging Greystar’s resources to meet financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, set rent rates, and ensure timely rent collection and financial reporting.
• Approve vendor invoices, manage petty cash, and oversee lease enforcement, including applications, renewals, inspections, and evictions.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring property standards for safety and appearance.
• Supervise staff hiring, training, performance management, and maintain owner relationships through regular updates and property tours.
• Prepare accounting, financial, and administrative reports and perform additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4–6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• All state and local licenses/certifications required for property management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, and internet applications.
• Experience with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
• Management and supervisory skills to hire, lead, evaluate, and direct staff and maintenance specialists.
