About the role
The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of an assigned apartment property, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage the property budget, set rent rates, collect payments, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, control expenditures, and manage petty‑cash funds.
- Oversee lease enforcement, resident applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collections.
- Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and ensuring timely maintenance.
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
- Hire, train, and supervise property staff, evaluating performance according to company policies.
- Maintain owner relationships through property tours, performance updates, and responsive communication.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
- 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
- Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service abilities.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
- Competence in internet use, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
- All required state and local licenses/certifications for property management.
