Community Manager (Property)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned residential property. The role includes managing staff, budgets, leasing, resident satisfaction and ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, including rent collection, invoice approval, and lease enforcement.
• Develop and monitor budgets, prepare financial reports, and control expenditures.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Supervise property staff, conduct hiring, training and performance management.
• Maintain resident satisfaction through timely response to service requests and regular property inspections.
• Coordinate with owners, provide property updates and handle owner inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and customer service abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database management.
• Valid driver’s license and required state/local certifications.
