Community Manager – Pinecrest

About the role

Tanger is looking for a Community Manager to lead the Pinecrest apartment community. The role blends independent decision‑making with collaborative teamwork in a flexible, Teams‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain open communication with center management, tenants, residents, shoppers and vendors.
• Oversee daily operations of the apartment community, ensuring high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction.
• Deliver a positive resident experience by anticipating needs, resolving concerns promptly and fostering a strong sense of community.
• Visit, inspect and communicate regularly with residents and on‑site staff.
• Lead, train and develop the on‑site management team, including maintenance and Community Associate positions.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and support the General Manager and People & Culture team with HR policy compliance.
• Provide on‑call coverage for emergencies, resident events and weekend duties.
• Assist center management with facility‑related issues and ensure resident requests are completed within 24‑48 hours.
• Manage leasing performance, including traffic generation, tours, closings and renewal strategies.
• Coordinate resident events and engagement initiatives aligned with a luxury lifestyle brand.
• Maintain corporate outreach and resident retention programs.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop on‑site teams.
• Experience handling resident concerns and delivering high‑quality service.
• Flexibility to cover emergencies, on‑call duties and weekend responsibilities.
• Understanding of HR compliance and leasing processes.
