About the role
The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, leading the on‑site team and managing resources to meet financial and operational targets. The role ensures compliance with Greystar policies and all applicable housing regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide input for property budget development by analyzing financial statements and market data.
- Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
- Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
- Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collections.
- Monitor market and economic trends to shape short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
Required profile
- Experience analyzing financial statements and property budgets.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to oversee lease processes and resident communications.
