About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of a 322‑unit lease‑up property in Murrieta. This position is responsible for leading staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and driving occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property’s annual budget, monitor financial performance, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile expenses, and control expenditures within approved budget limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, process renewals, conduct inspections, and manage evictions and late‑fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy targets.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by responding promptly to complaints, service requests, and ensuring timely maintenance.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate property staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years as a Community Manager with lease‑up and budgeting responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and required state/local certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
• Advanced use of internet, word‑processing, spreadsheet, and database‑management programs.
