Community Manager – Los Angeles

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a lease‑up property in Los Angeles. The role involves leading the on‑site team, ensuring smooth daily activities, and meeting financial and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the property’s daily operations, team members and resources.
• Drive lease‑up activities to achieve occupancy goals.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other regulations.
• Maintain resident satisfaction and address community issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Community Manager, preferably in a lease‑up environment.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in property or real‑estate management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Knowledge of lease‑up processes and relevant housing regulations.
