Community Manager – Lease Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to lead lease‑up activities for the Alta 87 property. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations while driving occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, set rent rates, collect payments, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, control expenditures, and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and late‑fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy targets.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and ensuring timely maintenance.
• Supervise property staff through hiring, training, performance management, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain owner relationships by providing performance updates, property tours, and responding to owner inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and customer‑service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Competence in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management programs.
